To apply for and obtain a marriage license on the same day, both applicants must appear together at the Office of the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk in Norwalk or at a district office to complete an application and have it submitted to the cashier no later than 4 p.m. (or 3:30 p.m. at District Offices)
